D&O Insurance: What Potential Directors Need to Know

Every board that has governance responsibility – even the board of a non-profit that only gives away money – can potentially give rise to liability for board members. Prior to joining, a prospective board member should have the entity’s Director & Officer Liability Insurance policies reviewed by an independent party, and should know enough about D&O coverage to ask intelligent questions and understand the answers. Our panel of experts will arm you with the information you need to effectively manage the risks involved with board service.
