Howard Brod Brownstein
President of Brownstein Corporation
Howard Brod Brownstein, CTP, is a nationally-known turnaround and restructuring professional, and regularly provides programs for Women in the Boardroom. He is President of Brownstein Corporation, which provides turnaround management and advisory services, as well as investment banking, fiduciary services, litigation consulting, investigations and valuation services. He regularly serves on the boards of directors of public and private companies, and currently serves on the boards of: P&F Industries (Nasdaq: PFIN) where he chairs the Nominating/Governance and Strategic Planning & Risk Assessment Committees, Renew Financial, where he serves as chair of the Risk Committee, and Merakey, a nonprofit with over 10,000 employees. He is a Certified Turnaround Professional, and also an NACD Board Leadership Fellow and Immediate Past President and Board Chair of the NACD Philadelphia Chapter. He has authored ninety articles and textbook chapters, is a Contributing Editor at two publications, and is a regular guest-lecturer at Harvard Business School, Wharton, NYU and elsewhere. He received JD and MBA degrees at Harvard, and B.S. (Wharton) and B.A. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
Divya Joshi

Divya is a senior global executive and has led business and Tech functions across the geographies: US, Europe, and India. She leads Data Partnerships & Data & AI Strategy at Thoughtworks.
Her experience includes working with top technology and manufacturing companies, financial institutions, media houses and policy makers. Divya had managed distributed technology teams at American Express and was part of the inaugural batch of women officers at the Indian Air Force. She has helped international startups expand to India and vice versa. She has presented papers and was published at International data conferences. She is part of the MIT CIO symposium organizing committee, and served as President of MIT Club, Delhi. At present she is the Board Member and VP of Programs at MIT Club of DC.

Samantha Kappagoda

Samantha Kappagoda is an Independent Director of the Credit Suisse Funds, Chief Data Scientist at Numerati® Partners, Visiting Scholar at NYU Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and a Member of the Business Board of the Governing Council at the University of Toronto. She is a seasoned executive leader, data scientist, economist, entrepreneur, and capital markets professional, with over 25 years of global experience across digital transformation, data analytics, financial management, strategy, and risk governance. Samantha has founded data analytics and emerging technology firms, as well as a journal on risk management, established a research lab in the Computer Science Department at New York University, and led analytics across diverse environments including the World Bank and global macro hedge fund Caxton Associates, managing $15 billion of assets.
During her career, Samantha has successfully navigated emerging opportunities, mitigated unanticipated risks, and addressed complex issues in highly regulated multidisciplinary settings. She was
recently featured in Directors & Boards magazine’s “Directors to Watch 2024,” and is a frequently invited speaker on AI and Data Governance as well as Risk, at conferences and events for corporate and fund directors.
Lara Druyan
CIBC US, Member Board Of Directors
With over 20 years of experience in venture capital, digital transformation, and corporate governance, Lara is a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Data Capital, a seed and early-stage fund focused on fintech and next-generation enterprise technology. She leverages her deep knowledge of large enterprise needs and buying behavior, as well as her extensive C-level contacts in F500 companies, to benefit start-ups and generate returns for investors.
Prior to joining Silicon Valley Data Capital, Lara was the Head of Innovation for Royal Bank of Canada, where she led a team that launched 14 new products in three and a half years, driving millions of dollars in cost savings and enabling new go-to-market strategies. She also served on the Bank’s Crypto Asset Oversight Committee, demonstrating her expertise in emerging technologies. Lara is an award-winning business transformation leader, recognized by Constellation Research and Banking Innovation, and a seasoned board director, serving on the boards of CIBC Bancorp USA, Synechron, and Healogix. Lara is passionate about closing gender gaps and lowering barriers to career advancement, and serves on Astia’s Investor Council.
