Why Lawyers Make Good Corporate Directors

Historically, if people were to ask a CEO and his or her board to describe their ideal director, lawyer might not have made the top ten list. But there has been a radical shift during the past decade. The old thinking was that lawyers were not necessarily welcome as directors on boards. The new thinking is they are not only welcome, but much sought after. During our webinar with Kathleen Franklin & Bob Barker, the following questions will be answered:

• What can you learn from the lawyer-director research?
• What skills & experience make a lawyer a good director candidate?
• What can you do to enhance your candidacy?
• What resources are available?
