Genna Garver works closely with clients to understand their unique needs and guide them through the complex maze of investment regulation.
Genna takes pride in the close personal attention she provides when advising investment management clients in connection with federal and state securities laws, private fund formation and securities offerings. She has extensive experience representing financial institutions in transactional and regulatory matters. She focuses on representing investment advisers, hedge funds and other private investment funds implementing various investment strategies.
Genna advises clients on: formation and offering matters for both domestic and offshore funds; SEC and state investment adviser, broker-dealer and private fund regulation; Investment Advisers Act registration and compliance programs; and mock audits and regulatory examinations and investigations.
Genna is Of Counsel in Dorsey’s Corporate Group and chairs the Investment Management practice.

Debbie Hennelly founded Compliance & Ethics Solutions in 2004. She has spent more than 25 years developing and implementing compliance and ethics programs for organizations, ranging from small companies to some of the largest multinationals.
Debbie brings both her legal expertise and engineering background to creating practical approaches for compliance and ethics risk assessment and management, “right-sized” and integrated into an organization’s operations and culture. She especially enjoys creating and leading interactive training and writing codes of conduct to help organizations create and sustain a “speaking up” culture and a commitment to ethical leadership.
In addition to her work with CES’ clients, Debbie has worked on both sides of the client/vendor relationship in the compliance and ethics field. She has held senior in-house roles in public and private companies, as well as working in two ethics and compliance specialty vendor companies. She spent more than 10 years in legal and compliance roles in AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, BP and Avon Products, with responsibilities ranging from implementing environmental and safety management systems to leading global compliance and ethics programs. She also advised other multinational companies on compliance and ethics program implementation while serving as vice president and general counsel of Integrity Interactive and as a senior knowledge leader with LRN.

Mona Aboelnaga Kanaan has been a successful serial entrepreneur and investor for over 25 years. She has a proven track record of building businesses by decisively defining and implementing long-term strategic plans, recruiting and motivating winning teams, establishing focused goals, and sourcing, executing and managing transformative strategic transactions and investments. Ms. Aboelnaga Kanaan has extensive experience in the US and Middle Eastern markets.
Ms. Aboelnaga Kanaan serves as Managing Partner of K6 Investments, which she founded to invest in a wide array of industries including financial services, technology, luxury and entertainment. K6 also advises institutional and strategic investors as they expand globally into these industries. Previously, Mona was President and CEO of Proctor Investment Managers, a firm she co-founded in 2002 to make private equity investments in the traditional and alternative asset management industry. After taking Proctor from startup to success, Ms. Aboelnaga Kanaan sold the firm to National Bank of Canada in 2006 and continued as Proctor’s CEO until 2013.
