Angela Brock-Kyle is Founder and CEO of B.O.A.R.D.S., a privately held governance, strategy and risk advisory firm. In addition to advising on governance, risk and strategic matters, Ms. Brock-Kyle sits on public and non-profit boards. She serves on the Audit and Nominating and Governance committees of the board of Infinity Property and Casualty Corporation (NASDAQ) and sits on the board of the United Way where she chairs the Nominating Committee that recently completed a successful CEO selection and transition. She is also a member of the Finance Committee (audit function), leads the Strategic Review Committee and co-founded the Women’s Leadership Council. Ms. Brock-Kyle also serves on the Board of the Executive Women’s Golf Association Foundation.
Ms. Brock-Kyle is a former senior leader with Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association-College Retirement Equities Fund (TIAA). Until 2012 she invested in and managed a $9 billion global fixed income portfolios, launched the end-to-end Asset Management business, and developed and deployed risk management strategies and systems. Most recently she was responsible for the oversight and guidance of cross-functional teams engaging with the Federal Reserve Board and other regulators.
Ms. Brock-Kyle has been recognized by the National Association of Corporate Directors as one of 100 influential directors in 2015. She received her Professional Director certification from the American College of Corporate Directors and is a member of The Economic Club of New York.
A native of California, Ms. Brock-Kyle received a B.S. from California State University, East Bay in 1980 and both J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1983.
